Quality Counts - Adams

Despite taking a well deserved point at The Valley, Manchester City's win against Newcastle see's The Foxes return to the first division after just the one season back in The Premiership.

"In the Premiership, quality counts," said a crestfallen Adams after the 2-2 draw. "We didn't have enough of it to survive.

"That's not to have a go at the board, because we've been in huge financial problems here and they've put a lot of money in to save us and keep us going, but it's just a simple fact of footballing life.

"I fear for the club, the rape and pillage of our best players.

"They're desperately upset in the dressing room, but what do you expect - they've just been relegated."
