The City boss has declared that changes need to be made in order for the Mandaric era to bring success back to the Walkers Stadium.

The Foxes have been linked with numerous players including Southampton's Leon Best and Portsmouth's out of contract striker, Todorov.

Another striker linked with a move to Leicester is MK Dons bright star Izale Mcleod. The clubs top goal scorer last season has been linked with a switch to Filbert way should the Dons recieve a "serious offer". And, with Mandarics money available, speculation has increased regarding the 22 year olds future.

Allen has already made a collection of additions to the City squad, bringing in Danish goalkeeper Nielsen, Veteran Bruno N'Gotty, 17 year old Ricky Sappleton and Allen's biggest signing to date, Carl Cort.

Cort was out of contract at Wolves and was snapped up by Allen after the former Newcastle hitman attracted attention from several other clubs including one from the Premiership.

With no changes made to the club's midfield, it was rumoured that Neil Lennon would make a historical return to Leicester to bolster the centre of the field and reignite his relationship with the Foxes faithful. However, the cult hero signed a One year deal with rivals Nottingham Forest.
