Mandaric Verdict Will Not Be Made Tomorrow

Last updated : 17 November 2006 By Joe Harris
The Leicester City share holders will hold a meeting tomorrow morning before the Foxes host Preston. The meeting was arranged in the hope that a decision would be made concerning Milan Mandaric's bid to buy the club.

However, it has been revealed that due to 'formalities and complexities' no decision can be made at the meeting tomorrow.

This news will almost certainly anger the majority of Leicester City fans who were told a decision would be reached before tomorrows clash with 2nd placed Preston North End.

And, with Mandaric's impatient reputation, there is a danger that the American Serbian business man will be tempted to cancel his bid and search elsewhere with a takeover bid for another club.

In an official club statement, Chairman Andrew Taylor said: 'We cannot get ahead of ourselves and try to rush this. It may seem tortuous to those seeking clarity of direction but it is nonetheless a process understood by those involved.'

Whilst no conclusion will be made in tomorrows meeting, progress is being made and tomorrows discussions are evidence of this.
