The 22 goal 22 year old has alerted the footballing world of his ability and with him being out of contract in the summer he's a prime target. But the Chairman thinks he will keep hold of his man.

'Things are going in the right direction," said Mandaric.

'We are talking to his agent and I don't see any major difficulties - we want him to sign and he wants to stay.'

He added: 'I would be very, very surprised if he didn't sign in the next few days.

'Matty is a very bright young man, very positive, he loves the club and his team mates.

'There are people who are interested but there's one club that is more interested than anyone else and that is Leicester City.'
