Hitman Hume Targets Rams

Fans favourite Iain Hume scored his first goal for City against Derby and then scored another against the Rams later that season.

And, the Canadian has revealed he is targeting Pride Park as the location to continue his goal scoring record when Leicester face their local rivals in what is, as always, expected to be a fiercely fought contest between the Midland teams.

'They are one of the sides that I have got a good record against. I scored at Pride Park and also at the Walkers Stadium last season.
Hume hopes to continue his record against the Rams tomorrow.

If I can get on the sheet again on Saturday then I'll be made up. But it's all about the result for us - which we desperately need at the moment.'

Due to a lack of form lately, Leicester find themselves in 18th position. However, Hume knows that another good run of results will catapult the team back up the table rapidly.

'We proved in October what can happen when you string together a good run of results. We jumped up something like 10 places during that period and there is noting to stop us doing that again.'
