Ferdinand signs!!

The 36-year-old former Tottenham and Newcastle striker has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at The Walkers Stadium after coming to the end of his short-term contract at West Ham.

Ferdinand became Leicester's second signing in 24 hours, after manager Micky Adams completed the signing of French midfielder Lilian Nalis from Italian club Chievo on Friday morning.

They join Steve Howey, Paul Brooker, Riccardo Scimeca, and Danny Coyne as new faces in a Lecester squad set to embark on a return to Premiership football.
