Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson may still look to exploit the emergency loan market after initially saying he had finished his transfer business. The Foxes have already made good use of loan deals in their quest to win promotion from the Championship.

Yakubu, Jeffrey Bruma, Ben Mee, Patrick van Aanholt and Kyle Naughton are all currently on loan at the club.

Eriksson told BBC Radio Leicester: "We are not looking but if something drops in front of your face maybe we will."

City are currently two points outside the play-offs but Eriksson would not rule out of the possibility of bolstering his side for the promotion run-in.

I wouldn't be surprised if Premier League clubs come in for him

Sven-Goran Eriksson on Andy King

"We'll see but for this week, probably not anything," he added. "If we are looking for loans, it is not for a defender."

And Eriksson has also sought to allay fears that midfielder Andy King could be on his way out of the club.

The Wales international has scored 13 league goals this season and

was linked with a move to Everton

last week.

But Eriksson said: "It's good for him and us. That's a sign he is doing very well.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Premier League clubs come in for him and some other players. But from there to a deal is a long distance and I haven't heard anything. I suppose no one in the club has heard anything otherwise they would tell me.

"But I haven't spoken to Andy about it and I think at the moment he is very happy here."
