"We are still working on bringing in a striker to the club and I now have an idea as to where we are financially.
"We have certain targets and, obviously, some cost more than others. I've been keeping a lot of balls up in the air and we now just need to make sure we get the right one.
"We are getting closer. We've now made an offer to a player and we should hear in the next couple of days if that has been successful. But there are others that will then become more important if that one falls through.
"I don't want to go into too much detail at the moment. It will all become apparent when we manage to do something."
