Asaba in the frame as Fryatt injury causes striker search for replacement.

With fans favourite Matty Fryatt injured, Rob Kelly has been given permission by the board to search for a replacment striker to bring in on loan.

And, with Carl Asaba currently on trial with the Foxes, a contract agreement between the player and the club seems very likely.

Fryatt picked up the injury to his ankle in training and assistant manager Mike Stowell has revealed that the injury seems more serious than first thought.

'It is looking as though he is going to be out for at least another two weeks. That's dissapointing for us and dissapointing for the lad. He's keen and desperate to get fit.'

permanent deal by Kelly and the board. When commenting on the transfer situation, Stowell said:

'Rob (Kelly) is on the case, but obviously we are not going to reveal any names at this moment in time... We are a bit thin on the ground on the striker front and that is one area that is prime for us and one that we are looking at.'
