Danny Tiatto is an experienced player who has often been in the headlines for disciplinary matters. That aside, he is a committed player, who can play in a variety of midfield positions. If he replicates his 100% performances for Manchester City, then he's sure to become a crowd favourite at the Walkers Stadium. Micky Adams has said of him ""People might say I am getting players at the wrong end of their careers but I feel Danny Tiatto has a lot to offer, a versatile left-sided player who can play left-back, left midfield, central midfield."

Dion Dublin | ||||||
Position Date of Birth Place of Birth Previous UK Clubs | Striker/Defender Leicester 22/04/1969 Cambridge United, Manchester United, Coventry City, Millwall, Aston Villa
After a free transfer from He played regularly for Villa last season, although he was largely used in defence. He will be a useful weapon up front or at the back, and is sure to chip in with a few goals. Dion has been linked with a move to his home town club for ages, and it's great to finally see him in Leicester. I think he will be as important to the club as Brian Deane was in the last promotion campaign!

Gareth Williams | ||||||
Position Date of Birth Previous UK Clubs | Midfielder 16/12/1981 Nottingham Forest
Full Scotland U21 midfielder Williams joined Forest from school. Gareth is a tall lad, but his game is all about grace and skill. He doesn't have great pace, but makes a yard of room by using his brain and shielding the ball well. A friend of mine is a football scout, and made the observation that Williams should really not be used a defensive midfielder. All too often his lack of pace means he can let other attackers in. That said, he has a real attackers brain, and could potentially prove a useful replacement for the likes of Muzzy Izzet. This assumes that the defence are strong enough to give him the opportunity to perform to his potential. His move from the City ground should add extra spice to the local derbies with Nottingham Forest.

Jason Wilcox | ||||||
Position Date of Birth Place of Birth Previous UK Clubs | Midfielder (left) 15/07/1971 Bolton Blackburn Rovers, Leeds United
Wilcox was Blackburn's longest serving player when he signed for Leeds in 1999 he had won the Premiership title with Blackburn, along with David Batty, in 1995. Won his first international cap for England against Hungary in 1996. Was in the England squad for Euro 2000 but injury robbed him of the chance to travel. Since his return from injury he has struggled to make the same impact and has been used mainly as sub. He is a celebrated crosser of the ball, and should fit very well into Leicester City's way of playing. This is provided the front men can react to his service. He will be looking forward to the games against Leeds United this coming season!
