Swansea City 2-0 Leicester City

The Foxes were second best in a scrappy contest at the Liberty Stadium and were punished with a two goal loss.

Matty Fryatt made his return to the City line-up after serving a three match suspension but the away side lacked any end product and never looked like scoring as Swansea's defence were rarely troubled, dealing with any Foxes threat comfortably.

Swansea looked favourites to take all three points for most of the afternoon and had several stinging efforts on goal in the first half.

The Foxes midfield trio never got a foothold in the game and only some impressive defending from City's new look back four meant they held on until the break.

Swansea came out all guns blazing at the restart and were soon awarded for their onslaught when substitute Emnes smashed the ball home from 10 yards five minutes into the second half.

The frustration was clear to see in the Foxes dugout and Eriksson was quick to act, sending on Martyn Waghorn to play alongside Fryatt in a traditional 4-4-2 formation.

But, ultimately Waghorn was unable to force any real influence on proceedings and Leicester's dismal away day was complete when Emnes was again involved deep into stoppage time.

The Foxes were chasing a late equaliser but the home side won the ball back and flew up the pitch to put the final nail in the coffin when Emnes picked out Sinclair who smashed the ball home to condemn Sven to his first Championship defeat.
