We are all waiting on Rio Ferdinand !

If Manchester United and Leeds can get an agreement about Rio Ferdinand and a sale in the region of £ 40 million would be settled, then this could get the domestic transfer market rolling. Lee Bowyer's move to Liverpool is another one, since this will give Terry Venables funds to buy new players, but again they must not buy players abroad if not it is just dry sand again. If the big clubs just buy players abroad you will never get the healthy movement of money inside your own game and it will end with a huge group of clubs getting in big financial trouble. The big clubs has a big part to play in this and clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are the worst in this situation since they are too much involved in getting foreigners to their clubs. Arsenal made two big domestic transfers last year bringing in Francis Jeffers and Richard Wright, Chelsea bought Frank Lampard and Liverpool haven't signed a domestic players since they took Nick Barmby to the club two seasons ago. If these big clubs use their money outside England they will most certainly end up without any competition at all and together with Newcastle and Tottenham they are starting to destroy their own football league. As long as there are now regulation of so called EU players any club can use as many foreigners as they like and buy from all other countries than their own. There should have been a regulation of this so that no teams could use more than three or four foreigners in their team and this would have secured transfer money beeing used inside England. Let's hope someone will start to see that this is a certainty to get the clubs in the four divisons in England floating. England is probably the country in Europe which are mostly affected of this situation since they have four proffesional divisions.
