Waghorn Available On Loan

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has announced that Martyn Waghorn would be made available on loan again this season.

The young striker spent an impressive year-long loan at the Walkers Stadium last season during Nigel Pearson's reign - scoring 11 goals during his time here.

And, yesterday Steve Bruce declared that he would be made available yet again: 'All of the Championship want Waghorn.

'It would only be a loan - I would never contemplate selling him.' He added.

Whilst the Foxes faithful would be delighted to see the popular striker back at the Walkers Stadium, it is understood that any bid made by Leicester for the 21-year-old would receieve fierce competition from a host of Championship clubs, including Nigel Pearson's Hull City.
