The Best 2020/21 Europa League Goals From Gameweek 3 - Ranked

The third week of Europa League action delivered on the goal front once more, with a series of crackers across the 16 group stage ties.

There were big wins for Roma, Hoffenheim, Leicester and Villarreal as 93 goals were racked up across 24 games, at an average (one for the maths fans!) of almost four goals per game.

Let's take a look at the very best goals from gameweek three.


10. Dennis Praet vs Braga

Dennis Praet rounded off a sublime team move involving James Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho (who bagged a brace on the night) and fellow Belgian Youri Tielemans as Leicester eased to a 4-0 victory against Braga.


9. Glen Kamara vs Benfica

Glen Kamara shot past Benfica keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos from outside the box with a clever finish. Pressure was mounting on the Portuguese outfit, and the goal was well and truly deserved.


8. Miralem Sulejmani vs CSKA Sofia

The Serbian international capped off a fast counter-attack by the Swiss side. After neatly dropping a shoulder and beating his marker, he slotted the ball past Busatto in goal to make it 3-0 to the hosts.


7. Mu'nas Dabbur vs Slovan Liberec

The Israeli striker netted the opener in Hoffenheim's 5-0 thrashing of Slovan Liberec after wriggling his way past a couple of defenders and finishing the chance coolly. All his work, brilliantly done.


6. Martin Ellingsen vs Arsenal

The Norwegian midfielder saw the Bernd Leno off his line and caught him off guard with a sumptuous effort from 25 yards. Though Arsenal ran 4-1 winners on the night, it was an expertly taken finish from Ellingsen.


5. Jan Kuchta vs Nice

Jan Kuchta took a long ball from the defence into his stride, tricked his way out of a couple of challenges and, following a nutmeg, smashed the ball home to give Slavia Praha the lead.


4. Orkun Kokcu vs CSKA Moscow

The Turkish international received the ball in midfield and made his mind up ever so quickly, hammering one in past Igor Akinfeev to give Feyenoord a two-goal cushion in his side's 3-1 win over the Russian side.


3. Yusuf Yazici vs AC Milan (Hat-Trick Goal )

Yazici completed his treble after an astonishing piece of counter-attacking play, rounded off with a cracking finish. Lille were threatening throughout the game and arguably should've scored more, but a stand-out performance from the Turkish international saw the French outfit batter the Italian giants on their own turf.


2. Robert Muric vs Napoli

The Croatian winger finished off a counter-attack very much against the run of play, rounding it off with a sweet curling effort from just outside the box to give Rijeka the lead against Napoli.

The Dutch international picked up a loose ball on the right wing and got away from a bunch of defenders with mind-boggling ease before slotting the ball past Lukas Hradecky. Though Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva went on to lose 4-2 on the night, Acolatse's goal was the pick of the bunch, and the goal of the week,
