Solano signs six-month Foxes deal

Veteran utility man Nolberto Solano has signed a new six-month contract with Championship side Leicester City.Solano moved to City on a short-term deal in January and played his part in their charge to the play-offs, where they lost in the semi-finals.

The Peruvian, 35, has started six matches and played a total of 13 games, both at right-back and in midfield.

Meanwhile former skipper Stephen Clemence is one of seven players who are leaving the Foxes.

Clemence was forced to retire earlier in the season after failing to recover from a heel injury.

Billy Kee, Levi Porter, Robbie Burns, Alex Cisak, Astrit Adjarevic and Carl Pentney have also been released.
