Leicester City's losing start to the season has left Paolo Sousa frustrated.

Leicester manager Paulo Sousa was left to reflect on the lapses which cost his side dear in the opening half of the 3-2 defeat at Crystal Palace.

Strikes from 17-year-old striker Wilfred Zaha, Darren Ambrose and Alan Lee put Palace 3-0 up at half-time, although goals from Andy King and DJ Campbell saw the Foxes come close to achieving a memorable fightback.

"I think we started well but conceded two silly goals," said Sousa.

"What I saw in the second half was a team with more anger to turn the situation around. I think we became a better team and created more chances.

"In the second half, the pressure was going pretty much one way and we stopped their counter-attacks, but unfortunately we did not make the best decisions in the first half." He added.

The Foxes will be looking to rapidly improve matters when they host Gordon Strachan's Middlesborough at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.
