Ryan Smith returns to Arsenal.

The Arsenal lad impressed in his early matches for City under then manager Craig Levein. City agreed with Arsenal to extend the loan at Christmas, meaning Smith would remain a City player until the end of the season.

That all came to an end on Friday. City manager Kelly said :-

"The reason Ryan came here in the first place was for first team football.

"But we couldn't guarantee Ryan would get the involvement he wanted.

"In our present situation we're fighting for our lives and that's not the best thing for a young player."
