Pipe, who scored for the first time since December 2007 in the midweek defeat of Yeovil, did not train on Thursday due to a knee injury sustained against the Glovers.

Top scorer Rickie Lambert marked his return from a hip injury with a stunning free-kick goal against the Somerset side after coming on as a substitute, but it remains to be seen whether the 21-goal striker will be restored to the starting line-up.

On loan goalkeeper Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton will again be Steve Phillips' cover on the bench in the absence of Mike Green (broken finger).

Defender Danny Coles has resumed full training after a long-term knee injury but is still lacking match fitness and is not expected to be in first-team contention until early next month.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson will choose from an unchanged squad as the League One leaders look to set a new club record of 20 games without defeat.

With Liverpool keeper David Martin still out with rib and back problems, fellow loanee Mark Bunn will retain his place between the posts after making his debut in the 2-2 draw at Hartlepool in midweek.

In the continued absence of Paul Henderson (groin) and Alex Cisak (wrist), Carl Pentney will again be on the bench as cover for Bunn, who is on a month-long loan from Blackburn.

Tom Cleverley could be recalled to the starting line-up after the Manchester United midfielder was rested at Victoria Park on Tuesday night.
