Second half goals from Marcus Bent and Steve Howey sealed a win that saw the Foxes move off the bottom of the Premiership table, leapfrogging both Leeds and the side they beat at the Walkers Stadium, Blackburn Rovers.

Hopefully the game will kick start our season in terms of results and belief," said Adams after the 2-0 win.

"I feel a lot better about myself than I did eight days ago.

"It's a welcome win for us.

"I thought Blackburn played some good stuff but I thought we seemed to be passing the buck and responsibility at times.

"We got the breaks - although it doesn't right the wrongs of the Wolves game."

"We're always dangerous set-piece wise. We're the top scorers from set-pieces in the Premiership. We work hard at them and get our rewards."
