Pearson happy to keep pressure on

"It is important that we try and maintain these standards and look to improve them every time that we play," said Pearson.

"We knew that there were a number of games in the division that had been postponed so this game gave us the opportunity to put more pressure on our opponents.

"I thought that we played very well. It was a very good performance and all aspects of our game were pleasing. It would have been nice to keep a clean sheet but we couldn't quite see it out."

Pearson also praised the Foxes support, some 2,000 made the wintery journey.

"To get a following like that is great. I know it would have been difficult for them to travel to the game (given the weather conditions). They really do make a difference."
