On form Hume relishing Millwall test.

The former Tranmere hitman has scored 4 goals in his last 6 starts for the foxes and will be hoping to gain revenge over the club that ended his European dream 2 years ago.

Tranmere were facing Millwall in an FA Cup quarter-final at the time, Hume said:-

"We managed to get a 0-0 draw at the New Den in what was a hostile atmosphere, but we lost the replay 2-1. Looking back on it now we had the better chances on the day and we should have won.

"I was lucky to enjoy some good cup runs while I was with Tranmere, but that was our best chance of getting into the final.

"What made it even more frustrating was the fact that we could have been playing in Europe had we have made it. But that's all in the past now."

City go into Saturdays clash 10 points of relegation threatened Millwall and Hume knows a win could virtually secure our safety :-

"The game gives us a good opportunity to open up the gap between Millwall and Leicester to 13 points, but we have to be careful not to put too much pressure on ourselves. If we go down there and don't lose then that still means that they have got everything to do.

"We will go there and play our game. If we do that we give ourselves the best chance of coming away from Millwall with the right result.

"When Craig Levein left we hadn't won two games in a row. But we have changed that and other teams are now hitting the bad form that we experienced. Everything is levelling itself out now and if we continue the way we are then I don't see why we shouldn't finish in the top half of the table."

City captain Paddy McCarthy faces a late fitness test, while Hume's strike partner Matty Fryatt has a slight knock but should travel to London.
