Misery continues for Jones

Jones, who was recently told by Foxes boss Micky Adams that he has no future at the Walkers Stadium, was dismissed for a second yellow card offence minutes into the second-half of the game in San Jose, California.

Jones had given away a 40th minute penalty which Landon Donovan converted to give America a half time lead and 3 minutes into the second period he was dismissed for a deliberate handball.

Eddie Lewis scored USA's second goal on the hour to seal a deserved victory for the home side.
