Today, the Leicester Mercury revealed that the Serbian-American business tycoon is cutting short his Haiwain holiday to travel back to England to sign the crucial contract to complete the ownership of the club.

Mandarics signature is all that is needed to complete the deal which will add
much needed stability to the debt stricken club.

And, it is thought that the Ex Portsmouth chairman could arrive in time to witness the Foxes third round FA cup clash with Fulham at the Walkers Stadium tommorow afternoon.

When talking about the take over, Mandaric said: "I have untold respect for the shareholders who saved this club which, together with the overwhelming backing from the club's supporters, have been instrumental factors in ensuring my commitment to securing a deal."

Manager, Rob Kelly, who has maintained all his concentration on the Foxes performances on field added: "I have left all of this to others at the club to sort out. We cannot start thinking about matters which we can't have any effect on."

The deal is set to be completed in correspondence with the January transfer window, giving Rob Kelly an opportunity to strengthen the squad in an attempt to fly back up the Championship table.
