Makin: I Have Nothing To Prove To Levein

Makin, 31, was shifted out of Leicester back in February after manager Craig Levein recruited full back Alan Maybury from Hearts.

Makin has made 11 appearances for the Rams so far, with many of their fans claiming the former Ipswich defender has been ‘excellent’ for them.

Shocking stuff.

"I don't think I have anything to prove to Craig Levein, all I'm bothered about is getting three points for Derby.

"I left Leicester because I don't think their gaffer rated me, it's as simple as that. When he brought Alan Maybury in from Hearts, I knew my time was up, but that's football."
