Levein sights the midfield as part of the problem

We have not started well, it does not take a genius to work that out. The strikers have been trying but have had in the most part poor service. The defence has looked okay except of course whenever a set piece is conceded so now Levein has had a dig at the midfield, speaking on the Official website Levein said

"We haven't quite fired on all cylinders as yet this season in that area.

"There might be a number of different reasons for that, but the first thing is to get everybody fit and available to play.

"I hope then to put out a midfield which I think will help the players to score and to prevent other teams from scoring. That for me is the area that we haven't quite got right just yet."

In our opinion Levein should have singled out Gareth Williams who has put in some below par performances in the heart of City's midfield. We know he has the skill but lately we have to question his desire for a full 90 minutes, one or two good passes is just not good enough.
