The Foxes suffered no fresh injury or suspension problem in stretching their lead over second-placed MK Dons to six points with a 2-0 victory at Yeovil on Monday night.

Tom Cleverley made his first appearance for the club as an 85th-minute substitute at Huish Park after joining City on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the season and the midfielder could make his home debut against the Terriers.

Michael Morrison is likely to continue his partnership alongside Jack Hobbs at the heart of defence with Bulgaria international Aleksander Tunchev ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark could field the same starting line-up for the fifth successive match.

New signings Lionel Ainsworth and Anthony Pilkington will have to wait for their Town debuts as they undergo medicals.

But Clark, who has no new injury or suspension problems, revealed he has been given plenty of selection dilemmas following the performance of several fringe players in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Doncaster.

New signing Dominik Werling is not fully-match fit, so Robbie Williams is expected to continue at left-back, while striker Andy Booth is nursing his way back to first-team action following surgery on his back and will not be included.

Goalkeeper Matt Glennon, defenders Werling, Chris Lucketti, David Unsworth, Tom Clarke and Joe Skarz and midfielders Jon Worthington, Ian Craney, James Berrett and Michael Flynn all gave Clarke plenty of food for thought against Doncaster.
