Leicester set to appoint Hull boss Pearson

Leicester City are expected to announce that former manager Nigel Pearson will again take over the reigns at the club sometime today.

Hull rejected an approach from Leicester on Sunday, but after Pearson requested to speak with his former employers they wouldn't stand in his way.

Pearson resigned as Leicester manager in June 2010 to take the job at Hull, but now it appears he wants to return.

"I would expect an announcement to say Pearson is the new Leicester City manager," said BBC Radio Humbersides's David Burns .

"That is the indication I am picking up."No-one is going on the record but everyone I talk to, people close to Pearson and people at the club, think it's happening and he is Leicester's man."
