Leicester predicted lineup vs Everton - Premier League

Leicester City welcome Everton to the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon just three days after bowing out of the Europa League Conference at the semi-final stage.

Since defeating PSV Eindhoven in the quarter-finals of the competition, Leicester have gone six matches without victory domestically or abroad. This is the club's longest wait for a win since a squall of seven games to begin 2019.

Here's the XI Brendan Rodgers may deploy to bust Leicester's rut.

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - The last time Schmeichel missed a Premier League minute, Claude Puel was Leicester's manager.

Ricardo Pereira (RB) - Rodgers' intricate squad rotation has ensured that Ricardo's last Premier League appearance at the King Power Stadium was in February - though he did score against West Ham that evening.

Wesley Fofana (CB) - The much-missed 21-year-old hasn't lost a Premier League game since his return from injury, last tasting top-flight defeat against Spurs in May 2021.

Jonny Evans (CB) - Nagging fitness concerns have limited the Northern Ireland international to just 11 Premier League starts this season, his lowest tally since leaving Manchester United in the search for more minutes seven years ago.

Timothy Castagne (LB) - The Belgian fullback was part of the Atalanta team that dismantled Everton home and away in the Europa League group stages (by an aggregate score of 8-1) back in 2017. How far the Toffees have fallen since.

Youri Tielemans (CM) - One of the few players deemed too important to leave out in any competition, Tielemans has started six of the club's last seven league games.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (CM) - Leicester's breakout star this season missed his first Premier League match since Halloween last weekend with a calf problem he shook off to play in Thursday night's defeat to Roma.

James Maddison (AM) - Leicester's leading scorer across the six different competitions they have featured in this season (14 goals) is one appearance shy of his 50th outing for the campaign.

Ademola Lookman (RW) - The former Toffee made 48 appearances for Everton across two-and-a-half loan-riddled years on Merseyside.

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) - With Jamie Vardy still being eased back into action after hamstring and knee problems since the turn of the year, Rodgers may deploy the team's most recent Premier League goalscorer.

Harvey Barnes (LW) - Less than three weeks ago Barnes opened the scoring within five minutes against Everton at Goodison Park - although his teammates couldn't hold on to all three points after he left the pitch with Leicester in the lead.
