Leicester predicted lineup vs Everton - Premier League

Leicester will be looking to bounce back from the last-second heartbreak they suffered against Newcastle on Sunday when they take on Everton in midweek.

The Foxes had seemed set to secure a point at St James' Park before Bruno Guimaraes finished off a counter-attack deep in second-half stoppage time to make it 2-1 to the Magpies.

A trip to Goodison Park is next on Leicester's agenda, and here is the starting XI Brendan Rodgers is most likely to be relying on to get the job done.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - Made a blunder against Newcastle when Leicester were fully in control of proceedings.

Ricardo Pereira (RB) - Recently signed a long-term contract at King Power Stadium and will be keen to repay the club's faith in him following a string of injuries.

Wesley Fofana (CB) - Has reminded everyone just how good he is since returning from a broken leg.

Jonny Evans (CB) - Rodgers will likely want to keep the veteran ticking over ahead of the Europa Conference League semi-final tie against Roma.

Timothy Castagne (LB) - Luke Thomas was underwhelming against Newcastle with Castagne easily the first choice at left-back right now.

2. Midfielders

Youri Tielemans (CM) - Made a couple of sloppy errors against Newcastle and is probably in need of a rest. Rodgers will be hoping to take him off before full time.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (CM) - Has been Leicester's best performer in recent weeks. Again though, playing less than a full 90 would be beneficial.

James Maddison (AM) - Is understood to be keen on a summer move. However, finding a suitor which would be an undisputed step up could be challenging.

3. Forwards

Marc Albrighton (RW) - Battling with Ademola Lookman for a spot in the starting XI for the Roma games.

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) - Patson Daka's goal drought continued on Sunday with Iheanacho comfortably ahead of him in the pecking order.

Harvey Barnes (LW) - Has threatened to push on to the next level at times this season but needs to start doing it consistently.
