Leicester 2-4 Arsenal

O’Grady and Gemmill struck for City on the night, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat in this six goal thriller at the Marston's Stadium.

Arsenal had taken the lead after just 15 minutes. However, O’Grady equalised for the battling Foxes 11 minutes before half time. After a succession of shots on goal, O’Grady seized one of the rebounds to slot home from close range.

This wasn’t a setback for the visitors who promptly raced in to a 4-1 lead.

Scott Gemmill shockingly scored late on to make it 4-2. Gemmill latched on to a long ball to force a save out of Stuart Taylor in the Arsenal goal. However, Taylor’s block from Gemmill’s effort fell kindly for him to convert in to an empty net.
