"I'm delighted for Chris. He's on the training ground literally morning, noon and night. We have to drag him off at the end of the day.
"He's a good example of someone who goes away on loan and uses it to his benefit. He went to Rushden & Diamonds and it ended up being beneficial to both parties. They treated him very well and he learnt about the harsh realities of the Football League there. He's come back with a determination to kick on.
"I' really pleased for him. He's a smashing lad and he has got a great attitude. He's a bit of a throwback in fact, A little old fashioned. He wants to do well and he will do whatever it takes to try and be a footballer. That's really refreshing.
