struggling for pace, Kaebi offers just what the Foxes need.

Martin Allen was informed about Kaebi by owner Milan Mandaric and the manager had to fight off four Premiership clubs in order to capture the stars signature.

Speaking about the signing, Allen said: 'While I was away on holiday I thought that the deal had gone dead because there has been Premiership interest. But I had an agreement with him before I went away and he promised me he would be joining us. This is an important signing for us.'

Although early in his career, Kaebi has a wealth of experience within the Iran international team and has an impressive reputation in his home country. Talking about his move to Leicester, the youngster said: 'I have always wanted to play in Europe and Leicester have given me that opportunity. I am thankful for that and I aim to do my very best and not let anyone down.'

Kaebi will join up with the Foxes after representing Iran in the prestigious Asian Cup later this month.

Meanwhile, Scot Stephen Hughes is on the verge of leaving Leicester to sign for Hearts in a deal valued at £50,000.
