Hereford: opponents
The League Two side, promoted last season after winning the Conference play-off final at the Walkers Stadium, are currently 8th in League Two.

Hereford, currently captained by ex-City reserve Rob Purdie, play at Edgar Street, which holds just short of 9,000 people. The majority of the ground is made up of terracing.

The Foxes haven't encountered Hereford for a number of years, the last time the 2 sides met was back in the 1997/98 season, in the 3rd round of the F.A. Cup. Leicester were held 0-0 away in a difficult match at Edgar Street, and were lucky to win in the replay at Filbert Street, the match ending 2-1 after extra time, Matt Elliott and Muzzy Izzet scoring the City goals.

James Wesolowski

In other news, international football beckons for 2 City players. Young midfielder James Wesolowski, with his first call-up, and defender Patrick Kisnorbo, have been named in the Australian squad to face Kuwait in the Asian Cup. Meanwhile, 2 more City players have been named on stand-by for their international teams. Another Aussie, City keeper Paul Henderson, and Northern Irish defender Gareth McAuley.
