The City striker, who has failed to score in the first seven games of the season, contributed to the teams impressive point with a 48th minute strike.

His first goal of the season wasn't enough to hand the Foxes their first away win of the season. However, Boss Rob Kelly will feel that a point against such powerful opposition is a job very well done.

Speaking after the game, Kelly said: I'm happy with todays performance and delighted for our players… It was important that we got a result here today after the disappointing week we have had.'

City held onto the lead until the 66th minute when Roy Keane made an inspirational swap that lead to substitute Hysen scoring with his first touch of the game, slotting the ball past the stretching Paul Henderson.

After this confidence boosting draw, Leicester will travel to Hereford on Tuesday night in a bid to continue their Carling Cup run. The Foxes will then be looking for three points against Championship opposition, Colchester United next Saturday in a must win game.
