Foxes Trust React to new kit deal

The Foxes Trust has welcomed the news that the kit deal with JJB has come to an end and that the club will be returning to a two year kit cycle.

Commenting on the news, Trust Board Member Matt Davis said "We opposed the use of a one year kit cycle from the day it was announced, as we felt it was a bad deal for all concerned and predictably full price kit sales fell considerably as many fans did not view a one year kit as value for money"

"We have continued to lobby for a return to a 2 year cycle ever since, with the club finally recognising the need to revert back very early this season, however we also raised the topic with representatives of Milan Mandaric way back in early November, getting an initial positive response"

Davis added "We know Milan has played a major role in sourcing a new supplier and look forward to a formal announcement in the near future"
