The Foxes striker bagged his fifth goal in eight games at Portsmouth on Saturday says he is sticking by his decision to hang-his-boots-up in May.

"Am I going to carry on? I don't think so. I don't think I will be playing next season, especially not in the Premiership," said the almost 37-year-old striker.

"I may go and do other things, I don't know. But I will definitely be calling it a day as far as the Premiership goes.

"If I help Leicester to stay up, it will be a fantastic way to end my career. That is the mission for me.

"That was the whole point of me deciding to come to Leicester City - to try and help them not return to Division One.

"It is a case of keeping my fitness now after early season problems with my knee and being in the right mental frame of mind - which I am.

"The good thing is now we are now turning what were `nearly' performances earlier in the season into full performances - picking up three points instead of one or none.

"We hadn't been getting thrashed by anyone. We had been very close to getting it right and now things are coming together.

"We are scoring goals and have tightened up in terms of not conceding."
