"This is not about Les Ferdinand or about Tottenham, it is about Leicester City getting three points. That is how I see it," Ferdinand told the Leicester Mercury.
"As for the idea of proving them wrong to let me go, people said the same thing when I was at West Ham and about to play Tottenham.
"What I want to do is prove myself right, that I still have something to offer at this level and to score goals for Leicester."
