"We were obviously disappointed to be defeated at Ipswich, but the players have reacted well this week. Our game against Hull is now a fresh test for us all. We have regrouped and we are now all focussed on what will be a difficult game.
"Hull will be well organised. They have come up to the Championship and proved that they can compete at this level."
The game will see the return of ex City boss Peter Taylor.
