Penalty expert Ricardo will be remembered in England for destroying The Three Lions' attempts to win two major international tournaments last decade.

And, Ricardo's performances against England will have left two Leicester City employees in particular, with heavy hearts.

The 'keeper saved a Darius Vassell penalty before stepping up to score the crucial penalty kick that saw England - managed by Eriksson, crash out of the tournament at the Quarter Final stage.

The 'keeper incredibly repeated his feat two years later at the World Cup in Germany when he again came out on top in a Quarter Final penalty Shoot out against England, again managed by Sven Goran Eriksson!

The 'keeper, now 34 is searching for a new club after being released by Spanish side Real Betis last month.

Eriksson will be eager to cast his eye over Ricardo before deciding whether to offer the veteran 'keeper a deal at the Walkers Stadium.
