Dickov's Derby Departure

The 36-year-old Scottish veteran has failed to make an impact on first team proceedings and has seen his chances limited further by the arrivals of Sunderland loanee Martyn Waghorn, Paul Gallagher and most recently, French striker Yann Kermorgant.

It is believed Dickov pushed through the deal after declaring his desperation for first team football and is likely to feature against rivals Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The deal will reportedly keep Dickov at Pride Park until January.
