Darius set for Foxes bow

Darius Vassell could be ready to make his Leicester debut against Preston at the Walkers Stadium. A lack of match fitness has kept the former England striker out of the picture since he joined the club 10 days ago. Vassell has not played a competitive match since leaving Turkish side Ankaragucu in May. He could make his bow this weekend, with a place on the bench the most likely scenario. Fellow striker Martyn Waghorn and defenders Greg Cunningham and Kyle Naughton return to contention after being cup-tied for the visit of West Brom in midweek. Forward Dany N`Guessan could also come back into the reckoning after almost a month out with an ankle injury. On-loan defender Curtis Davies (hamstring) and midfielder Matt Oakley (thigh) remain sidelined. Meanwhile, defender Aleksandar Tunchev is on course to return to full training at the end of November after making good progress in his comeback from a serious knee injury.
