With the media speculation now subsiding David Connolly is ready to get back to business this afternoon. City take on Luton Town at the Walkers Stadium (3pm K.O) later today. The return to fitness of the 4 goal striker is a massive boost to City boss Craig Levein. Infact Levein now faces a selection headache in attack with Hammond,Dublin,DeVries and Connolly all available.

Luton visit the Walkers Stadium after making an impressive start to their campaign, The Hatters have taken 7 points from their opening fixtures of the season. Luton are expected to make several changes to the under strength squad fielded in the midweek victory at Leyton Orient. Strikers Steve Howard and Rowan Vine will miss out though.

City boss Levein is not taking Luton Town lightly, speaking to the Official Leicester City site Levein said:

"We don't know an awful lot about Luton. We have had them watched, but I haven't had the chance to see them personally. But I do know a little bit about their players.

"The fact that they have started the season very well is an indication that it will be a difficult match.

"But it is a game that we are looking to win. If we can take some of the creative play that we have produced since the start of the season into the game and put away our chances then I will be fairly happy.

"Defensively we looked a little bit better on Tuesday night. Put the two together and that will give us a good chance to win the game.

"The league hasn't settled down yet and I am pretty sure that Mike Newell, like myself, will be interested to see where his team sits after a dozen games or so.

"They are a decent, well organised, hard working team. A lot of times when teams come up from the lower divisions they often surprise people because of their work ethic.

"They realise sometimes that they are underdogs and because of that the players and the team themselves put in so much more effort. They will be dangerous and we are not taking this game lightly in any way whatsoever."
