Graydon will join the Foxes in a bid to secure their Championship status, he enjoyed a spell at Walsall some years ago and has just finished coaching in China.

Graydon told the clubs official website :-

"I'm absolutely delighted to be here. Rob called me and asked me if I would be interested in coming to Leicester to help out and I jumped at the chance.

"I have actually been asked to come to Leicester three times now, and I have finally made it here at the third time of asking.

"The first time was when Frank McLintock took over as manager. I was going to be his first signing. But I ended up going to Coventry before moving to the States and then to Oxford.

"I was later asked by Micky Adams to come over and help during his time in charge here. But I had just booked a winter holiday for my wife for the first time in 36 years, so I had to turn it down!

"I am not a young coach anymore, but I am just as enthusiastic as I was when I was 30."
