Businessman invests half-a-million in Leicester

The 82-year-old retired businessman, who is a former President at the club, has supported the side since he was a 12-year-old schoolboy.

“I have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and determination shown by everyone at the club," he told the clubs official website.

“The energy and contribution from the chairman, directors, manager, staff and shareholders of all different means has been magnificent in every respect and has saved the club.

“I have found the new regime to be extremely purposeful and businesslike in the tough world of football and wish them the success they now deserve.”
