Brighton V Leicester at Amex Stadium - Match Preview

Seagulls hopeful on Ulloa

Leonardo Ulloa could return to the Brighton squad for the visit of leaders Leicester.

The Argentinian striker, who has scored 18 goals in 28 games since joining Albion last January, has been sidelined for two months with a foot injury but is fit again and available for selection.

Ulloa's return will come as a major boost to boss Oscar Garcia as he looks to bounce back from Tuesday's shock home defeat by Barnsley.

Winger Kazenga LuaLua is also close to returning after a hamstring problem so forwards Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) are the only definite absentees.

Ritchie De Laet could return to the Leicester squad.

De Laet has been out for almost two months with a shin problem but the former Manchester United right-back made his return to action with 60 minutes in a development squad game on Wednesday afternoon.

After seeing an unchanged side beaten at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, Foxes boss Nigel Pearson could choose to freshen up his starting XI. Dean Hammond will hope for a recall against his former club while fellow midfielder Andy King, strikers Jeff Schlupp, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Chris Wood and defender Liam Moore are also options.

Defender Sean St. Ledger (groin) and young striker Tom Hopper (shin) remain out.
