Boss pleased with a point

He told the club's official website: "I would have liked three points. I would have liked to have been sat on top of the table tonight but it wasn't to be, but at least we gained another point on the run.

"I think it's a great point. When you look back at it at the end of the season we will say that was a good point and when you consider we have taken four points off a side who reportedly are going to be champions that's a good return."

Adams also had words of praise for City goalscorer Trevor Benjamin.

"Trevor Benjamin has not scored that many goals - particularly at the Walkers Stadium - and that was nice for him," he said.

"He's a willing lad who works hard in training every day. He's got his reward tonight."
