Arsenal winger set to join City on loan

Young Arsenal winger Ryan Smith is on the verge of a move to the Walkers Stadium.
Ryan, just 19 is a regular in the Arsenal reserves. The versatile and pacey winger can be played on either side of the pitch. He will join Leicester until December 31 2005 with an option of extending the deal to the seasons closure if both parties agree.

This is just the sort of signing the fans were looking for, he will add pace and creativity to our front line. Speaking on the Official Leicester City site manager Craig Levein said

" Ryan is a young player with bags of potential who needs first team experience. He is a winger who can play on either side with plenty of pace and ability and I am sure he will excite the Leicester supporters."

Smith may arrive in time for City's match against local rivals Derby County on Saturday.
