The 29-year-old Australian, who turned down the offer of a new deal with The Bantams, has signed a three year deal with The Foxes.
Henderson becomes manager Craig Levein's second keeper singing of the summer with Rab Douglas also joining the Foxes from Celtic last month.
"Leicester's a big club moving in the right direction," Henderson said.
"It's a real step forward for me to come here."
