Adams: We're not there yet

City and long time division one leaders Portsmouth remain favourites to finish first and second and gain automatic promotion to the Premiership and Adams feels that the three points from the Preston clash has almost definately guaranteed Leicester a play-off place should they fail in their automatic promotion bid.

"We're not there yet, far from it, but that win over Preston gives us enough points to get to the play-offs," Adams said after seeing Brian Deane's two goals give the Foxes a narrow 2-1 victory over play-off hopefuls North End.

"So we can relax about that at least.

"I'm not saying we're guaranteed to be there but I think 74 points, with the way other results have gone this weekend, will be good enough for the play-offs."
