Adams set for transfer activity

The ruling by the Football League brings to an end the player loan and transfer embargo imposed on the Foxes while administrators negotiated terms with creditors - the club were prevented from making any signings since it applied for protection from its creditors last October.

"We are now in a position where new players can be signed and that is good news," said Leicester boss Nicky Adams.

"It was frustrating because I am led to believe that, but for a few legal documents to be signed, it is all done and dusted for us to come out of administration.

"I didn't see what the objection was and we had been working behind the scenes to bring in a couple of players, one a midfielder, and a front man."
